Quneitra Electricity Teams Begin Network Repairs in Nabaa al-Sakhr

Technical teams from the Quneitra General Electricity Company began a comprehensive campaign on Monday to rehabilitate the electrical supply system in the town of Nabaa al-Sakhr, located in the southern countryside of Quneitra. This initiative is part of a broader service plan adopted by the company to organize electrical subscriptions and stabilize the local power network.

Adnan Al-Dhiyab, head of the company’s meter installation team, confirmed that the work is proceeding along two primary technical tracks. The first track focuses on inspecting, maintaining, and calibrating damaged meters before they are reinstalled. The second track involves the installation of new meters for subscribers who have completed the necessary application procedures and documentation. Al-Dhiyab explained that these measures are intended to regulate electricity consumption and protect the network from overloading, thereby ensuring a fair distribution of power among all subscribers.

These activities are part of a wider strategy aimed at reconstructing and rehabilitating electrical infrastructure in areas that suffered damage over the past several years. The efforts are designed to ensure the stability of the power supply and meet the growing needs of residents.

In a related development, the company’s teams began field operations on the 4th of this month to rehabilitate the electricity network in the Jafit Junction residential area, which is affiliated with Nabaa al-Sakhr. These works included the installation of new utility poles to reinforce the network, a step intended to improve the quality of essential services and encourage residents to return to their homes and settle in the area.

These technical interventions reflect the commitment of the Quneitra General Electricity Company to develop and modernize utility facilities in the province’s villages and towns. These projects are intended to strengthen infrastructure and support the stability of residents in areas undergoing rehabilitation.
