Temperatures Across Syria Approach Seasonal Averages

Most regions in Syria have experienced a rise in temperatures, bringing them close to or slightly above their annual seasonal averages, according to the National Center for Meteorology.

Weather forecasts for Monday indicate typical summer conditions, with clear to partly cloudy skies prevailing across the country. Despite generally stable weather, there remains a slight possibility of localized and sporadic rain showers in the northern parts of the coastal region and certain northwestern areas. In the eastern regions, the Al-Jazeera area, and the Badia, conditions are expected to be hazy.

Winds are forecasted to be westerly to southwesterly in the western and northern parts of the country, ranging from light to moderate speed. There is a potential for these winds to pick up during the afternoon, with speeds exceeding 45 kilometers per hour. In the eastern regions and the Badia, winds are expected to be easterly to southeasterly, ranging from light to moderate. Meanwhile, sea conditions will remain calm with light waves.

As night falls, the weather is expected to become mild across most areas, though it will feel relatively cool in mountainous regions. The morning will be accompanied by an increase in humidity, with warnings of potential light fog forming in parts of the northwestern, central, and southwestern regions during the night and early morning hours.
