New Internal Security Personnel Graduate in Latakia

The Internal Security leadership in Latakia announced on Saturday the graduation of a new class of personnel. A total of 531 recruits successfully completed their training and have been awarded the rank of guard. This graduation took place as part of the ongoing training and qualification programs overseen by the Syrian Ministry of Interior.
This development serves as part of the Ministry’s broader efforts to provide internal security institutions with qualified personnel, tasked with enhancing the maintenance of security and stability. This graduation is one of a series of qualification courses organized by the Ministry of Interior across various Syrian provinces.
In a related development, the Ministry of Interior held a ceremony two days ago in the city of Tartus to mark the graduation of the 60th class of internal security personnel. The cohort, named the “Martyr Mundhir Barakat Al-Hussein” course, saw the graduation of 705 personnel. These recruits completed an intensive training program lasting over four months, which included physical and cognitive preparation tailored to the nature of the security duties required by various sectors within the Ministry.
Through these regular training cycles, the Syrian Ministry of Interior aims to modernize and improve security performance. The periodic graduation of new cohorts is intended to meet operational requirements on the ground and strengthen the security presence across the provinces, in line with the state’s strategy for maintaining order and upholding the rule of law.
