Deir ez-Zor Governor Confirms Progress on ‘Nab’d al-Deir’ Project
Deir ez-Zor Governor Ziad Al-Ayash has confirmed the continued progress of the ‘Nab’d al-Deir’ (Pulse of Deir) service project, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to advancing the work despite ongoing infrastructure sector challenges.
In a statement shared via his official social media account on X, the Governor explained that the project is proceeding in accordance with its established timeline. He noted that officials are currently coordinating with relevant authorities to address and overcome difficulties caused by rising fuel prices and increased operational costs.
Al-Ayash highlighted that the local administration is prioritizing sustainable solutions to ensure the project’s long-term continuity. He stressed that all phases of the work must be executed with the required efficiency and in strict adherence to approved technical specifications. Launched on September 12 of this year, ‘Nab’d al-Deir’ is a key component of the reconstruction plan for the Deir ez-Zor Governorate. The project primarily focuses on the rehabilitation and paving of major roads, as well as the maintenance of critical bridges throughout the city of Deir ez-Zor and its surrounding countryside.
