Soldier Bilal Ibrahim Laid to Rest in Aleppo Countryside

The Syrian Ministry of Defense held a funeral ceremony on Sunday for soldier Bilal Omar Ibrahim, who was laid to rest in his hometown of Tadeel, located in the Atarib district of the western Aleppo countryside.
The funeral procession was marked by an official and public turnout, honoring the soldier’s sacrifices and his bravery in fulfilling his field duties. The ceremony was attended by security officials, heads of local government and service departments, as well as the martyr’s family and notable figures from the town of Tadeel.
Speaking during the ceremony, the official in charge of the Atarib area, Farhan al-Kuweider, stated that the region had bid farewell to one of its sons who sacrificed his life for the safety and stability of the country. Al-Kuweider expressed the pride of the people of the Aleppo countryside in the sacrifices made by members of the armed forces, emphasizing the collective commitment to honoring those who continue to serve in the protection and security of the nation.
Soldier Bilal Ibrahim lost his life while performing his national duty to dismantle mines and remnants of war in the al-Tanf area, located in the eastern Homs countryside. This region remains a focus of ongoing operations by Syrian Arab Army engineering units, which work to clear such hazards to ensure the safety of civilians and secure areas liberated from the remnants of militant groups.
