Social Insurance Institution Interviews Physician Applicants

The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) conducted personal interviews on Wednesday for applicants who successfully passed the written examination as part of the previously announced central recruitment competition. This initiative, coordinated with the Ministry of Administrative Development, aims to staff the institution with specialized medical professionals to fill key roles within its central administration and various provincial branches across Syria.
In an official statement released via its Telegram channel, the institution explained that the interviews are designed to rigorously assess the practical and professional expertise of the applicants. The evaluation process also measures the candidates’ professional competence and general knowledge. During the sessions, examination panels focused on understanding how candidates navigate various professional scenarios they might encounter while performing administrative and medical duties within the organization.
The General Organization for Social Insurance emphasized that these tests and competitions are part of its ongoing development strategy to strengthen its workforce with qualified, specialized experts. This effort is intended to support institutional growth and improve the quality of services provided to citizens. The initiative is part of a broader national effort to enhance professional capabilities across Syrian state institutions to ensure more efficient service delivery.
On September 3, the institution announced the results of the written exam for the competition, following a comprehensive audit and review process conducted according to established transparency standards. The final list of successful candidates includes 21 individuals who passed the examination and qualified for this current stage of the recruitment process.
It is noteworthy that on July 29, the Ministry of Administrative Development, in coordination with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor—represented by the General Organization for Social Insurance—announced vacancies for medical specialists across all Syrian governorates. This action is part of the ongoing efforts by state ministries and institutions to bolster functional structures and ensure operational efficiency in vital sectors. These positions specifically require medical expertise to maintain the continuity of services and healthcare delivery within the central and local administrative offices of the Social Insurance system.
