Marmarita Carnival Returns in Symbolic Celebration of Assumption Day
The town of Marmarita, located in the western countryside of Homs, recently hosted a symbolic carnival to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption. Members of the Tourism Police, stationed in the nearby Al-Hawash area, were tasked with maintaining public safety and managing the flow of crowds. Their efforts focused on facilitating the movement of worshippers to and from local churches, managing traffic during the carnival, and ensuring a secure environment for all participants, including visitors from other Syrian regions and abroad.
