Educational and Fun Activities Hosted at Daraa Summer Festival
The ‘Eyes of Daraa’ foundation participated in the ongoing Summer Hauran Festival, hosting a series of educational and recreational activities designed to support children in the region. Volunteers from the non-profit organization organized several activities to bring joy and learning to the festival. These included interactive sessions where children could engage with traditional Arabic calligraphy by having their names written on cups, as well as creative face painting and mask-making workshops. Mohamed Musalama, a volunteer with the foundation, stated that the initiative was intended to create moments of happiness for children while actively incentivizing their educational pursuits. Another volunteer, Rawan Al-Masri, echoed these sentiments, highlighting the significance of providing community-focused activities in the wake of the difficult circumstances many children in the area have faced.
