Central Inspection Commission Announces Internal Audit Exam Details

The Central Inspection Commission has announced that the written examination for the first batch of applicants to the national program for qualifying internal audit personnel will be held this coming Saturday. This initiative is designed to develop a specialized national workforce capable of managing internal oversight responsibilities across various Syrian public institutions and entities. The program aims to prepare candidates for roles as heads of internal audit departments and as internal auditors across all governorates.

In an official statement released on Thursday, the commission confirmed that it has finalized the distribution schedules for candidates. Applicants have been assigned to designated examination centers and halls to ensure the smooth operation of the process across the country. Candidates can access their specific distribution details, including their assigned center and hall, via the dedicated electronic link published by the commission.

Addressing logistical arrangements, the commission noted a significant change regarding the examination center in Homs. The exam in Homs will now be held at the Faculty of Arts, rather than the Faculty of Agriculture as previously announced. The commission emphasized that candidates must strictly adhere to this updated location. The examination is scheduled to commence at 12:00 PM this Saturday, September 5th.

The network of examination centers includes several Syrian university faculties. The tests will take place at the Faculties of Economics in Damascus and Aleppo, the Faculty of Arts in Homs, and the Faculty of Law in Deir ez-Zor.

This national program is the result of coordination between the Ministry of Administrative Development and the Central Inspection Commission. Launched last July under the supervision of the Higher Institute for Inspection and Control, the initiative is part of a broader state effort to strengthen institutional oversight. By providing public entities with qualified personnel trained according to modern professional standards, the government aims to enhance operational performance and transparency within Syrian institutions.
