Al-Shaibani Meets Saudi and Turkish Counterparts in New York

Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asad Hassan Al-Shaibani met on Wednesday with his Saudi and Turkish counterparts, Faisal bin Farhan and Hakan Fidan, respectively, while attending the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The discussions focused on bilateral relations between Syria and both Riyadh and Ankara. The ministers explored avenues for strengthening cooperation across various fields of mutual interest to serve the shared goals of their respective nations.

During the meetings, the participants reviewed current regional and international developments. They exchanged perspectives on priority issues at this stage, reflecting Syria’s active participation in the UN General Assembly. These meetings provide a significant opportunity for diplomatic engagement and for advancing Syria’s relations with regional partners.
