Syrian Embassy in Oman Partners with Badr Al Samaa for Medical Discounts

The Syrian Embassy in Oman has finalized a new cooperation agreement with the Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals and Polyclinics, aiming to enhance healthcare access and reduce financial burdens for the Syrian community living in the Sultanate.
This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts by the Syrian diplomatic mission to ensure that Syrian citizens and their families can access high-quality medical services at more affordable rates. Under the terms of the agreement, Syrians residing in Oman will be entitled to special discounts on a wide range of medical, diagnostic, and treatment services offered by the group.
The agreement encompasses all 13 branches of the Badr Al Samaa Group located throughout the Sultanate of Oman. This extensive network ensures that a broad segment of the community across various Omani governorates can benefit from these medical facilities.
According to the agreed-upon terms, these medical benefits are scheduled to take effect starting November 1, 2024. The agreement is set to remain in full force until October 19, 2028. This step reflects the ongoing commitment of official Syrian institutions to provide necessary support to expatriates and citizens living abroad, while developing communication mechanisms to overcome obstacles they may face, particularly regarding health and living conditions.
The Badr Al Samaa Group is recognized as a prominent medical institution within the Sultanate. Through this partnership, the embassy aims to help secure a healthcare safety net for the Syrian community. The initiative highlights the focus of the concerned authorities on monitoring the welfare of Syrians abroad, meeting their basic requirements, and improving the services provided to them in coordination with local entities in host countries.
