Syria U20 Football Team Faces Uzbekistan in Asian Cup Qualifier

The Syria U20 national football team is preparing for its final and decisive match in Group B of the AFC U20 Asian Cup qualifiers. The team is set to face Uzbekistan this Sunday in Tashkent as they conclude their campaign in the tournament.

The Syrian side enters the match with the ambition of securing a positive result to round off their performance in the group stage. The team’s qualifying journey has been characterized by mixed results thus far. Syria opened the competition with a 1-0 defeat against India in the first round.
