Slight Decline in Gold Prices Across Syrian Markets

Gold markets in Syria experienced a slight decline in pricing during Wednesday’s trading session, according to the latest bulletin issued by the General Administration for Precious Metals.

Official data indicates that the price of 21-karat gold dropped by 100 Syrian pounds compared to the rates recorded on Tuesday. Following this adjustment, the official selling price for one gram of 21-karat gold is 16,150 Syrian pounds, while the authority has set the purchase price at 15,850 Syrian pounds.

The price adjustment also affected 18-karat gold. The selling price for 18-karat gold is now 13,800 Syrian pounds, with a corresponding purchase price of 13,500 Syrian pounds.

On the international market, the price of an ounce of gold was recorded at 4,126 US dollars.

These price movements are part of the daily updates provided by the General Administration for Precious Metals. These figures are intended to reflect ongoing changes in both local and international gold markets and serve as a primary reference for dealers and traders operating within the Syrian markets.
