Organizational Structure Committee Approves New Ministry of Information Plan

Organizational Structure Committee Approves New Ministry of Information Plan

The Organizational Structure Committee has officially approved a new structural plan for the Ministry of Information. This decision is part of a broader initiative to reorganize public entities, ensuring their institutional frameworks are better aligned with current operational tasks and modern administrative requirements.

The approval follows an extensive series of discussions focused on the organizational distribution of duties and professional competencies. By precisely defining the responsibilities of administrative units and their functional interrelationships, the committee aims to enhance clarity regarding individual roles and strengthen institutional integration. The Ministry of Administrative Development highlighted that this measure is consistent with its ongoing efforts to improve government performance, boost administrative efficiency, reduce overlapping jurisdictions, and improve internal coordination and decision-making processes within public institutions.

Under the new government directives, the proposed structure is intended to foster a more effective and flexible organizational environment. This framework is designed to enable the Ministry of Information to fulfill its mandate comprehensively while keeping pace with rapid shifts in media operations and government communications. Ultimately, the plan seeks to improve the ministry’s responsiveness to both institutional and societal needs.

It is noteworthy that the Organizational Structure Committee was established pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 43 of 2025. Its primary mission is to reorganize government agencies using modern administrative methodologies. The committee aims to transition organizational structures from simple administrative frameworks into effective tools for achievement, while upholding principles of good governance across all state institutions. These efforts are closely aligned with the requirements of the institutional transformation phase currently being implemented across the country.
