Israeli Military Incursions and Road Closures Reported in Quneitra

The Quneitra Governorate in southern Syria has experienced a series of field movements by Israeli occupation forces, characterized by military incursions and restrictions on civilian movement in the southern countryside.
According to field sources, an Israeli military unit, supported by a bulldozer and several armored vehicles, advanced on Friday into the area west of the Zaroora farm. This operation resulted in the total closure of several vital roads in the vicinity, effectively cutting off traffic for residents and vehicles in the surrounding agricultural lands and villages.
These maneuvers are part of a broader pattern of military activity carried out by occupation forces over the past 24 hours. On Thursday, a military force consisting of six vehicles and accompanying infantry entered the village of Al-Hurriya in the northern Quneitra countryside, where they conducted searches of several civilian homes. Additionally, near the outskirts of Al-Hamidiya town in the northern countryside, occupation forces detonated an abandoned house. Meanwhile, heavy machine-gun fire was reported, targeting agricultural lands surrounding the town of Kodna in the southern countryside.
These actions are viewed as a continuation of repeated violations of the 1974 Disengagement of Forces Agreement. Such violations have consistently included military incursions into southern Syria, raids on civilian homes, arrests, the leveling of agricultural land, and attacks using artillery shells across various areas of the governorate.
For its part, the Syrian state continues to reiterate its firm rejection of these practices. Damascus has emphasized its demand for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from all occupied Syrian territories, maintaining that these measures are void and hold no legal standing under international law. The Syrian government has called upon the international community to uphold its legal and moral responsibilities to compel Israel to withdraw completely from southern Syria and to cease the ongoing hostilities that directly impact civilian life and regional stability.
