Gold Prices Rise in Syrian Market

Gold markets in Syria experienced a price increase on Thursday, reflecting the daily fluctuations typical of the local market for the precious metal. According to the official bulletin issued by the General Authority for Precious Metals, the price of a 21-karat gold gram rose by 150 Syrian pounds compared to the rates recorded on Wednesday.
Following these latest updates, the selling price for a 21-karat gold gram has reached 16,150 Syrian pounds, while the purchasing price stands at 15,850 Syrian pounds. Regarding 18-karat gold, the price has been set at 13,850 Syrian pounds for selling and 13,550 Syrian pounds for purchasing.
These price adjustments occur as the gold market continues to be influenced by various economic standards and variables. Internationally, the price of an ounce of gold has been recorded at 4,125 dollars.
The General Authority for Precious Metals issues periodic bulletins that reflect current market prices within Syria. These reports serve as a reference for dealers and those interested in the gold and jewelry sector across various governorates, ensuring that buying and selling operations are regulated according to officially approved pricing.
