Administrative Development Ministry Announces Job Vacancies in 5 Provinces

The Syrian Ministry of Administrative Development, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, has officially announced a new round of job vacancies across five provinces. The recruitment drive is aimed at filling specific roles in Damascus, Homs, Aleppo, Idlib, and Deir ez-Zor, as part of ongoing government efforts to organize public sector employment.

Interested applicants have until August 21, 2026, to submit their documentation. The Ministry has provided dedicated online platforms to facilitate the application process, requiring candidates to access official links for both viewing vacancy details and submitting their credentials. This digital approach to recruitment is intended to streamline the hiring process and ensure transparency in the selection of candidates for public service roles.

For applicants currently employed within the public sector, the Ministry has mandated that a “no objection” document—issued by the applicant’s current employer—must be included in the submission. Without this documentation, applications from existing civil servants will not be considered. The Ministry further clarified that the government is not responsible for providing housing for successful candidates who are hired for positions outside their current province of residence.

Regarding the selection process, the Ministry confirmed that any application failing to meet the specific requirements outlined in the vacancy card will be automatically excluded. In instances where the number of qualified applicants exceeds the number of available positions, the Ministry will utilize an automated sorting system. This electronic selection process will prioritize candidates based on several key criteria, including academic qualification and specialization, overall grade point average, location of residence, professional experience, specific skills, and age.

This announcement is part of the Ministry of Administrative Development’s ongoing efforts to coordinate with various ministries and public entities to regularly open positions across Syria. By establishing clear criteria and standardized application procedures, the government seeks to match the most suitable candidates with institutional needs throughout the country. The Ministry continues to emphasize that all interested individuals must utilize the official electronic links provided to ensure their applications are processed in accordance with the established regulatory framework.
