Israeli Forces Conduct Incursions in Quneitra and Daraa Countryside

Israeli forces conducted military incursions into parts of the Quneitra and Daraa countryside on Sunday, carrying out land-clearing operations on agricultural territory and implementing security measures that restricted civilian movement.
Field sources reported that an Israeli military force, consisting of a tank and several support vehicles, moved into an area west of Al-Hanut farm in the southern Quneitra countryside. Upon arrival, the forces initiated operations to clear agricultural land owned by Syrian citizens, which was cultivated with olive trees.
In a related development, Israeli forces released two Syrian men who had been detained on Saturday. The individuals were captured while working in olive groves near the village of Tranjeh in the northern Quneitra countryside, where forces had also carried out an incursion.
In the western countryside of Daraa, military activity extended to the Aqrabiyah area, located between the village of Abidin and the town of Jumlah in the Yarmouk Basin. Israeli forces established a military checkpoint that obstructed civilian movement in the area before withdrawing later in the day.
These military movements are viewed as a continued breach of the 1974 Disengagement of Forces Agreement, which regulates the situation in the border region. Syrian authorities have reiterated their rejection of these violations, which include raids, land clearing, and shelling. The government maintains that all such actions are invalid and hold no legal standing under the principles of international law.
Syria continues to call on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities regarding these practices. The state is urging efforts to compel Israel to withdraw fully from the lands in southern Syria and to cease all aggressions targeting infrastructure, agricultural property, and Syrian citizens.
