Syrian Ministry of Justice Announces Recruitment Results

The Syrian Ministry of Justice has officially announced the results of its recent recruitment competition, aimed at attracting legal and administrative professionals to bolster the judicial sector and address staffing shortages.
Minister of Justice, Maghreb Al-Wais, confirmed the announcement via the platform X. He emphasized that the initiative is part of an ongoing effort to enhance judicial performance, noting that the effectiveness of the judiciary relies on the support of competent personnel to assist in executing required tasks. Al-Wais stated that the Ministry’s primary focus is to provide courts with the necessary human resources to ensure operations run as efficiently as possible.
Regarding the recruitment details, the Minister noted significant public interest in the process, with approximately 10,000 applicants participating in the competition. The final results confirmed the selection of 1,200 successful candidates possessing the required legal and administrative expertise. The Ministry is now preparing to distribute these new staff members across various courts in different governorates. This deployment is intended to strengthen the operational capacity of the courts and accelerate the completion of judicial transactions and procedures, ultimately aiming to reduce the burden on citizens and improve the quality of services provided to the public.
The Minister further disclosed that a reserve list of candidates has been established. These individuals will be called upon as needed, subject to the availability of necessary funding, to ensure the long-term sustainability of the judicial system’s operations.
This announcement follows a series of steps taken by the Ministry of Justice to enhance its workforce. On the 21st of last month, Minister Al-Wais announced that 190 new judges, all holders of law degrees, had officially joined the judicial staff in various governorates following the completion of their required theoretical and practical training programs.
The Ministry of Justice has invited all applicants to review the competition results and verify their status or job titles through the Ministry’s official recruitment portal. Additionally, the full lists of successful candidates have been made available via official links to ensure transparency throughout the recruitment process.
