In its official bulletin, the Authority set the price for a gram of 21-karat gold at 16,300 Syrian pounds for sale, while the purchase price was established at 16,000 Syrian pounds per gram. This specific karat remains the most widely traded gold variant in local Syrian markets.

In a similar trend, 18-karat gold also maintained its stability. The selling price for a gram of 18-karat gold reached 13,950 Syrian pounds, with the purchase price listed at 13,650 Syrian pounds.

On the international front, the global gold market also experienced stability, with the price of an ounce remaining at 4,165 US dollars.

These figures are part of the periodic monitoring conducted by the General Authority for Precious Metals. The Authority is responsible for regulating and setting prices for the precious metal across all Syrian regions, ensuring that local market stability is maintained in alignment with global fluctuations and current monetary policies.
