Mild Summer Weather Expected Across Syria with Chance of Light Rain

Temperatures across most regions in Syria are experiencing a gradual rise, though they remain one to three degrees Celsius below their annual averages for this time of year. The National Center for Meteorology has forecasted mild summer weather for Monday, with conditions expected to be clear to partly cloudy throughout the country.

According to the latest meteorological report, there is a slight chance of light, localized rain showers in parts of the coastal, northwestern, and central regions. Meanwhile, the eastern, Al-Jazeera, and desert regions are expected to experience hazy and dusty conditions. During the night, the weather will generally remain pleasant, with a slight cooling trend in mountainous areas. Authorities have warned of the potential for light fog to form in parts of the central and southern regions, as well as coastal highlands, during the early morning hours, coinciding with an increase in humidity in western and southern areas.

Regarding wind activity, winds will blow from the west to southwest in western and southern regions, while they will shift from west to northwest in other parts of the country. Wind speeds are expected to range between light and moderate, with active gusts exceeding 50 km/h in the central and eastern regions, as well as parts of the southwestern region. These winds are likely to stir up dust in some inland areas. Sea conditions are expected to remain calm with light wave heights.
