Intensive Hanbali Jurisprudence Course Concludes in Al-Dumayr
An intensive educational program focusing on the Hanbali school of Islamic jurisprudence has officially concluded in the city of Al-Dumayr, located in the Rif Dimashq governorate. The six-day course attracted over 200 participants, including both male and female students, seeking to deepen their understanding of foundational Islamic legal principles.
The initiative was organized under the auspices of the Rif Dimashq Endowments Directorate (Awqaf). Academic oversight for the program was provided by Sheikh Dr. Ammar bin Ibrahim Al-Issa, a prominent religious figure who serves as the preacher of the Hanabila Muzaffari Mosque in Damascus and is a member of the Ifta Council at the Umayyad Mosque.
According to Dr. Al-Issa, the primary objective of the intensive course was to provide a comprehensive legal qualification for students. The curriculum was designed to cover the essential components of the Hanbali jurisprudence toolkit, utilizing a structured approach to ensure participants developed a solid academic foundation in both Islamic law and its underlying principles. The program featured instruction from a panel of academic doctors and subject matter experts, aiming to foster a higher standard of religious education in the region.
Throughout the six-day duration, the program emphasized the importance of supporting structured religious education and training programs.
