Rif Dimashq Province Launches Bus Service for Damascus International Fair
The Governorate of Rif Dimashq has announced the implementation of a dedicated bus service to support visitors traveling from various regions of the province to the Damascus International Fair. This initiative is designed to simplify logistics and ensure easier access for residents attending the national exhibition.
According to an official update provided by the Rif Dimashq Governorate via their Telegram channel, the bus routes will operate at a frequency of two trips per day. The service is scheduled to commence on August 29, 2026, coinciding with the official opening of the event to the general public. While the fair itself is set to begin on August 26, the initial three-day period has been reserved specifically for business-to-business engagements and professional visitors. The public transport services will align with the transition to general attendance.
In addition to facilitating public transport, the Rif Dimashq Governorate has issued a formal invitation to all fair attendees to visit its dedicated pavilion. The provincial government aims to utilize the exhibition as a platform to showcase its local developments, projects, and ongoing initiatives, offering visitors a detailed look at the administration’s current focus and future planning.
The Damascus International Fair remains a cornerstone of the national calendar, serving as a significant venue for economic exchange and public engagement.
