Quneitra Launches ‘Our Golan Deserves It’ Service Campaign

Governor of Quneitra, Ghassan Al-Sayyed Ahmed, has officially announced the launch of a comprehensive service and development campaign titled “Our Golan Deserves It.” The initiative aims to improve local infrastructure, enhance road networks, and address the immediate service needs of the province’s residents.
The announcement was made during an event held at the governorate’s headquarters, where officials emphasized that the campaign serves as a direct response to the most pressing service-related priorities within the region. According to the governor, the scope of the campaign was determined based on detailed field studies assessing the current situation and the essential requirements of the province.
Key projects slated for implementation under this initiative include the rehabilitation and paving of roads, alongside critical improvements to the sewage network to ensure environmental safety in residential areas. Furthermore, the campaign outlines specific plans to install street lighting to enhance public safety and facilitate transportation. The province will also provide intensified support to the sanitation sector to ensure that both urban and rural centers in Quneitra are properly maintained.
Governor Al-Sayyed Ahmed stressed that the execution of these projects is being guided by a strict assessment of actual needs to ensure that the local population derives the maximum possible benefit from the improvements.
Field operations for the “Our Golan Deserves It” campaign are already underway. The project follows an organized executive plan that bridges the gap between field observations and available engineering and service solutions. The administration aims to maintain a steady, escalating pace for the works until the end of the current year, reflecting a broader effort to modernize infrastructure and overcome the service challenges facing the region.
Ultimately, the initiative is part of a larger strategy to bolster service stability and upgrade public facilities in Quneitra. This effort highlights the commitment of local institutions to improving the standard of living for citizens and fostering local development throughout the province.
