Al-Shaibani Meets Saudi and Turkish Counterparts in New York

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani held meetings on Wednesday with the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Faisal bin Farhan, and the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan. The meetings took place on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The discussions between Al-Shaibani and his Saudi and Turkish counterparts centered on bilateral relations between Syria and each of the two nations. The talks explored ways to bolster cooperation across various fields of mutual interest to serve the shared goals of the respective countries.

During the sessions, the officials reviewed the latest developments on both regional and international stages. The parties exchanged views on priority issues facing the current landscape. These engagements occurred as part of Syria’s active participation in the UN General Assembly, which provides a significant platform for discussing diplomatic matters and advancing the prospects of Syrian relations with regional neighbors.
